Data Engineer

A Data Engineer is required to work with a prestigious Client for a role in the Netherlands. This is an exciting long-term opportunity with an initial contract of 14 months with extensions likely.
My client is looking for an expert Data Engineer to join an existing team and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities/duties
1. Implementing, Maintaining, Configuration and monitoring of Big Data components
2. The Data Engineer will be responsible for collecting, storing, analysing and processing large sets of data.
3. Designing scalable and future-proof systems

Key skills required
1. Experienced Data Engineer
2. Experience with use of Big Data components such as Kafka, Spark, MongoDB and HBase
3. Experienced working on Hadoop ecosystems
4. Must be Fluent Dutch communicator (written and Oral)

Duration: 14 months
Rate: 60€ - 75€ depending on experience
Location: Netherlands
