Data Co-Ordinator/Data Analyst

Our client is a global leader within the Nuclear and Submarine sector who have developed their Nuclear product databases and spread sheets. The current databases cannot fulfil all the data requirements they have within Engineering so they need a Data Coordinator to manually extract additional data in which the current systems cannot identify.

The Systems they use are PLM - Teamcentre and Doors for requirements capture. They will also use other Microsoft systems such as Excel to extract data, turn metrics into data tables, graphs.

DUE TO THE SENSITIVITY OF THE PROJECT, CANDIDATES MUST HOLD VALID SC CLEARANCE OR MUST BE ELIGIBLE TO UNDERGO A VETTING PROCESS

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of databases and spread sheets.
- Experience of working in an engineering or technology environment.
- Understanding of data sensitivities.
- Managing Engineering Data, manual input of Data.
- Maintenance of product data to ensure its currency and accuracy across the product life cycle.
- Review, packaging and dispatch of data to external and internal agencies.
- Reporting of information and data management performance and metrics.
- Conducting data and information management audits and maintaining audit trail.

The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

- Knowledge of tools such as Teamcenter and DOORS
- Managing Engineering Data, and working in an engineering or technology environment.
- Good knowledge of standard IT packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
