DATA CENTER/MIGRATION/CONSOLIDATION
Our banking client in Geneva urgently (to start on 29TH MARCH 2016) needs a Manager/Co-ordinator for a Data Centre Consolidation project.
Your role will be to arrange and oversee a project whereby a Data Centre, which is currently housed across various rooms in one building and bring this into one room.
You must have:
- Data Centre Management experience
- Infrastructure Experience
- Ideally knowledge of Banking Data Centres (to understand the sensitivities involved)
- Excellent communication experience as you will be dealing with teams of technicians who will carry out the cabling and network patching and Rach/Stack movements
Experience of migrations of data centres, specifically mapping out the project architecture of a new set up (including moving Racks and recabling) will be extremely valuable.
Additionally, you will speak fluent ENGLISH and FRENCH.
The role is based in Geneva, and will be for an initial contract length of 3-4 months, but will most likely be extended beyond this.
We will be able to give Feedback to successful candidates on Monday 14.03.16.
