ROLE: Data Centre Engineer - Travel Required
LOCATION: Krakow, Poland
TYPE: 3 - 6 months Contract
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Build customer data centre suite solutions according to specifications
- Maintaining plans and schedules as required
- Utilising others when assigning responsibilities and encourages others to provide ideas and input
- Deal with the customer installation task list
- Ensure customer calls and emails are logged on the ticketing system with all incidents and service requests completed to customer satisfaction
- Manage internal and external access requests to the data centre estate
- Design and maintain Storage, Compute, and Virtualization resources as single service to internal customer base.
- Detailed knowledge of data backup applications, associated hardware, deployment and design in both a server and storage environment
- Good understanding of design/Implementating data centre infrastructure
- Detailed understanding of telecommunications provision, design and implementation (voice & data)
- Detailed understanding of Network design, topology, and associated hardware (Firewall/Switches/Routers)
- CCNP/CCIE Preferred
