DATA CENTRE DELIVERY MANAGER

As a DATA CENTRE DELIVERY MANAGER, you will part-take in a project for the client's migration of their current data centre into Edgeconnex. This will affect around 12 EU countries, and you will be responsible for the correspondence between the EU managers in order to establish the current issues and find a solution for the re-platform approach. You will be an integral part of the project, daily liaising and cooperating with the in-house Discovery Team and running reports in their current data centre using ADDM/BMC Discovery. For this, you must come from a technical background/previously have been exposed to BMC Software.

You will predominantly be based in the AMSTERDAM HEAD OFFICE where you will be in the heart of the project.

CORE DUTIES

- Update the current CMDB with ADDM data
- Perform manual updates to CMDB following application owner workshops
- Reporting information deltas to the Discovery Team
- Overall responsible for the CMDB reporting
- Monitor and review programs and projects to ensure delivery to the agreed standards of quality, cost, risk and time
- Engage and manage relevant stakeholders, helping to resolve issues and understanding drivers/needs
- Proactively recommend remedial action to bring the portfolio/project/program back in line.
- Drive governance across the department ensuring projects adhere to the framework and governance gateways
- Identify resource gaps and ensure actions are taken to resolve them
- Analyse all information on the program/portfolio and be able to identify key and future issue
- Drive strong financial analysis
- Ensure key project documentation is in place
- Drive simple reporting of complex financials across the department, drive quality of information and reporting
- Manage and operationally improve departmental infrastructure driving efficiencies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- 1+ years knowledge of SERVICE ASSETexperience with portfolio/project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
- GENERAL PROJECT/DELIVERY MANAGEMENT RELATED SKILLS: Relationshipinterpersonal skills; self-drive; strong communicationdelivery management; organizational skills, planningrisk management
