Projektbeschreibung
Data Center SME
1. Data Center network design, planning and operations related to IT data networks and telecommunications in GLOBE Data Centers globally.
2. Validate that Data Center network solutions are implemented and operated in accordance with Nestlé standards and compliance requirements.
3. Collaborates with BT colleagues and providers and other stakeholders to implement and maintain Data Center technologies (LAN routing, switching & Load-balancing) globally. Provider and other stakeholders mean other third party vendors with whom the Supplier may be required to interact.
4. Responsible to ensure end to end solution integration and delivery, working with internal and external teams/partners.
5. Responsible for the architecture requirements gathering, design, documentation, knowledge transfer, compliance and updates of technical infrastructure and standards for components and solutions including but not limited to:
- Data Center LAN
- Load Balancing
- IP Addressing
- Network monitoring and alerting
- Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)
6. Replacing end-of-life devices inside GLOBE Data Centers. And upgrade the OS image on the devices, whenever needed.
7. Monitoring tools update and alert configuration for network devices inside DCs.
8. Work on Data Center hardware issues, coordinate with hardware vendors and replace the same (when needed), for the devices managed by Network team.
9. Participate in a Follow The Sun Network organization, collaborating with Network Solutions Engineers and providers to deliver 24x7x365 network support for GLOBE Data Centers.
10. Collaborates with key suppliers to deliver day-to-day services and to drive service improvements.
