DATA CENTER ENGINEER - REMOTE/NETHERLANDS

Flint are seeking a number of Data Center Engineers to work in Netherlands as well as working remotely on a long-term Design and Integration project. We are ideally seeking Data Centre Engineers with the ability and desire to be up-skilled in Cisco ACI, and become a I&C and Migration engineer for a long term project. You will be fully involved in the design and delivery of this solution and will be in a customer facing role. You will be part of a team of engineers with support and training provided where appropriate. You will work on projects that are strategic, of high visibility, and involve highly complex emerging technologies and solutions integration. This role will include the ability to incorporate 3rd party solutions for F5, Checkpoint, and possibly others into the solution and you can demonstrate experience in this area

The profile we are looking for:

- ACI & IP engineer
- (first two/three weeks likely full time in NL)
- Preferably also experience with F5 and & Checkpoint

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Successfully manages customer relationships
Supports delivery of service program to major customers
Performs analysis of complex network designs.
Provides remote or onsite deployment support.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
Excellent Cisco + Nexus hands on working experience on site
Data Centre design, migration planning, delivery and administration of Cisco Nexus 9K 7K, 5K and 3K
Design, implementation and troubleshooting experience in enterprise of SP networks, focusing on the Data Centres with Cisco Nexus Switches
Knowledge of L2 and L3 escalation issues and ensuring optimum reliability & availability of network infrastructure
Leading or responsibility for network deployment activities including Requirement capture & analysis, Acceptance Testing, Implementation and Maintenance.
Troubleshoot reported client problems related to performance, optimization network administration, application conflicts & system bugs.
Understanding of UCS, Storage (SAN) Protocols & Linux OS.
Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience in Cisco Data Center technologies, including Nexus and ACI.
Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS REQUIRED

Load Balancer: Cisco ACE, NetScaler (VPX)
Routing Protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IS-IS
Switching: STP, RSTP and VLAN, HSRP.
MPLS, Layer 3 BGP MPLS VRF.
