Activities
- Together with the team you are responsible for taking the lead in Datacenter engineering activities for the enterprise business.
- Mission of the enterprise is to be the nearby,reliable secure hybrid cloud provider & cloud broker, offering a range of secure cloud solutions to keep our customers ' business running & enable business innovation.
- Perform internal audit of the datacenter architecture and processes.
- Define and agree clear roles and responsibilities for datacenter operations and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with business, strategy and operation teams to improve service offering to ensure deployments can be done efficiently, cost effectively and acquiring all relevant information to provide guidance, recommendations and generate accurate reports.
- Responsibilities may include defining evolutionary technologies and focusing on innovative technologies and applications that deliver IT value to the business.
- Assists in initiatives created to achieve enterprise roadmap milestones.
- Assists in architecture development to achieve operational excellence.
- You will be assigned to project core teams.
- You will detect and analyse the shortcomings of the service as well pro-active as for example in the case of a major incident, and you will make proposals to prevent them in the future.
Profile
- We are looking for an all-round IT professional with at least 5 years of proven experience in a big company, someone who is comfortable with working with a portfolio of datacenter products and cloud solutions.
- You are passionate about IT technology and datacenters.
- Strong technical knowledge:
o Datacenter
o Cloud and hosting infrastructure
o Virtualisation
o Storage
o Network & security
- IaaS, PaaS, Saas, XaaS and also IP Networks, Firewalls, load balancers, proxies, Internet and SAN solutions or no strange terms for you.
- Skills:
o Strong in communication and good negotiation skills
o High customer focus
o Analytical and detail oriented
o A positive, problem-solving attitude
o You are a team player but able to work independently
o Strong business networking skills
o Sense of urgency
