Data Architect

This position is still open. This role is for an expert in modelling, a candidate with a very solid background on data modelling, and who has some understanding of the IT Landscape. The job requires deep modelling knowledge as it requires designing complex data systems.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Working with the Enterprise Data Architect responsible for project and the Business Data Definition Owners, deliver the Conceptual and Logical models for priority areas
2. Working with the Enterprise Data Architect responsible for the project, the Project Solution Architect and the Projects Business Analysts deliver the Application Logical model The above 2 activities will have to be executed in sequence or in parallel on multiple subject areas.

KEY/SPECIAL CHALLENGES:
1. Establishing collaborative working relationship with all stakeholders through early engagement and earning respect by providing high-quality expertise.
2. Developing in depth Business & Data knowledge in a complex environment (business and IT)

Domestic Travel Required: 25% International Travel Required: None
Travel Details: to nl or uk depending on location

Technical Skills and Experience:
1. E-R Data modelling mandatory. Relational more than dimensional. Knowledge of Systems Architect strongly desired.
2. Knowledge of Software Licensing processes and experience and background in software license management is preferred.

SOFT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Proven leadership & negotiating skills and ability to drive change using influence and networking.
2. Deliverable-oriented with focus on results. Doer/Hands-on attitude.
3. Experience in a multi-disciplined IT environment with strong expertise in Data Analysis and Modelling.
4. Organised and methodical. Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan thou coping with a level of uncertainty and risk
5. Rigorous, thorough and with a taste for detail.
