Data and Document Scientist

Experience required in document and data mining/searching to support licensing and modelling/prediction teams and to support the development of data without borders strategy. This is primarily a data entry/data analysis role, recent graduates with BA/BS/MA/MS degree in Sciences or Regulatory Sciences, with 1-2 years of recent experience in Business Pharma/Regulatory Data are preferred.

Experience and general understanding of pharmaceutical data/document management model to support Preclinical strategy. Experience required in document and data mining/searching to support licensing and modelling/prediction teams and to support the development of data without borders strategy. Strong computer system experience to support gaining access and working appropriately in company data and document management systems (Watson, OpenLab, GDMS, DLTS, SEEK, Gnosis, Preserve). Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Project and SharePoint as well as Adobe Acrobat. Programming skills would be a plus but are not vital. Advantageous/desirable to have had business experience in term (synonym) relationships in the pharmaceutical industry.

Most critical skills:
Expert computer skills - MS programs through to SharePoint and Documentum systems. Essential to have experience in the Pharmaceutical sector for key terminology understanding - great communicator, team player, good interaction and social skills. Fit into a team scenario. Desirable to have data architecture knowledge/Electronic Archive experience.
