Data and Control Framework Lead - Solvency II

Oliver James Associates are recruiting a Data and Control Framework Lead on a contract basis on behalf of a major insurer in Dublin, for their Solvency II project.

Duties and responsibilities below:

Solvency II data:

- Finalisation of the data policy to the standards required under Solvency II
- Implementation of data standards in all locations, driving remediation activities as required (including at Group functions) and transitioning to business as usual
- Tracking and monitoring the Group IT Solvency II project to ensure data standards required are being considered and delivered on according to the ZIP data policy

Solvency II control framework:

- Lead for completing the implementation of the control framework in 2015 for Internal Model and MCBS (market consistent balance sheet)
- To include the management of design and operational testing, ensuring full readiness for go live in 2016
- Implement control framework for QRT reporting to an agreed timetable with the programme sponsors
- Ensure readiness for transition of control framework to business as usual from 2016

This role would suit someone who has experience of the above on a Solvency II project and ideally has an understanding of the actuarial function. Applications can be considered from international candidates however you must already hold the right to live and work in Ireland indefinitely.
