Data Analyst - Trade Surveillance - Data Quality - Actimize

We are currently hiring a DATA ANALYST to work on a MARKET SURVEILLANCE PROGRAMME for a TIER 1 BANK.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Data Analysis - Understand the application's data requirements and analyse the Front Office trade MI reports and reconcile with the records loaded into the target platform.
- Take ownership of data analysis to ensure the right quality of the data is made available to the application within the timescales defined in the project, and be able to clearly explain any differences to senior stakeholders.
- The programme aims to define and implement an automated Market Surveillance solution and globally consistent control framework
- Significant amount of networking
- Leverage the Actimize Trade Surveillance platform
- Analyse data requirements and conduct detailed data analysis using a wide variety of data sources and tools to verify mappings and accuracy of data

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Exposure to governance, control, quality, and risk management practices and a proven ability to effectively work across teams at all levels
- Solid experience of employing change management best practices and disciplines
- In depth experience of delivering across the whole of the project life cycle
- Exposure to governance, control and risk management
- Must have a solid understanding of the various asset classes (equity, FI, FX and others) and the related trade data attributes.
- Previous experience of Market Surveillance projects including exposure to Actimize will be of great advantage
- Good understanding of databases (SQL & Oracle), and database design and implementation
