DATA ANALYST possessing Top Secret Clearance needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alexandria, VA.

POSSESSION OF A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Possession of Top Secret clearance is required
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist in applying statistics and quantitative methods to assessing the utilization of data for modelling projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The scope of work covers the efficiency and effectiveness of policies and procedures for applications for and initiation of background investigations; validation, regulation, and projection of DoD background investigation requirements for DoD credentials, non-sensitive positions, positions of trust, and sensitive positions; investigative standards, practices, and cost-effectiveness of them; adjudicative guidelines, operations, and outcomes; insider threats and other personnel security and suitability risks; security incident policies and procedures; and continuous evaluation policies and practices.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experienced data analyst/data scientist working to investigate complex data centric problems through the disciplines of mathematics, statistics, and computer science.
- Background with utilizing statistical and quantitative tools to analyze and transform data into business insights.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Data Analyst/Data Scientist in applying statistics and quantitative methods to assessing the utilization of data for modelling projects.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing models and algorithms using software and languages such as: R, Python, Java, and Mathematica, IBM SPSS, SAS, and MATLAB.
- Experience with ETL tools, such as: Informatica Power Center, IBM Cognos Data Manager, SAP Business Objects Data Integrator, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services, SAS Data Integration Suite, and Oracle Warehouse Builder
- Experience in using techniques, such as: Classification Trees, Random Forests, Neural Networks, Naïve Bayes, Machine Learning Algorithms, Text Mining, Regression Analysis, What-if Analysis, Impact Analysis, Complex Reasoning, Deficiency Resolution, and Monte Carlo simulations.
- Experience working with data in Oracle 11g RDBMS or other relational databases.
