Data Analyst - Solvency II

My client is a leading global insurance brand and they are seeking a Pillar III Data Analyst to identify requirements and work on solutions for Pillar III reporting. You must have strong technical knowledge of the Solvency II requirements for Pillar III reporting.

You will undertake a data gap analysis for all entities, developing a Pillar III data directory and providing specification on the end data requirements for Pillar III reporting to the Regulator. This will involve an analysis of the "to be" reporting environment to identify where system changes are required, to specify new sources, assist in sourcing the new data, and to identify vendor solution procurements and configuration. You will be working with finance, actuarial, risk and IT professionals to understand underlying data.

Key experience desired;
*Strong technical knowledge of Solvency II Pillar III requirements
*Knowledge of relevant UK regulatory requirements such as PRA requirements on capital adequacy regimes
*At least five years relevant experience in general insurance
*Successfully realised full Project life cycle
*Experience of working in a business-focused role, converting business needs into actionable requirements
*Experience and demonstrable understanding of complex data flows, business rules and systems environments
*Working knowledge and application of analysis techniques to include process modelling, interviewing techniques, gap analysis, and business scenarios and data analysis.
