Data Analyst Job

DATA ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Wauwatosa, WI.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Expert with Microsoft Excel
- Able to build simple query design of existing data
- Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Performs daily data validation for equipment orders, revenue and opportunities against financial and opportunity management source data systems
- Root cause analysis of discrepancies and exceptions reporting to peers and management with actionable steps for corrections
- Writes, reviews and revises a variety of validation SOPs based on changing business needs
- Writes reports to summarize validation/verification activities and results
- Provides workflow request support through root cause analysis, validation and clearly communicates resolution steps
- Responsible for data extraction and downloads from various operational systems (Cognos, BOXI, etc.)
- Consolidate and cleanup/reformat extracted data using MS Office tools like Excel and Access
- Utilizes excel formulas to identify variances between reporting periods

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three to five (3- 4) years of related experience
- Must be advanced Excel users eg, vlookups, pivot tables
- Must have experience validating large amounts of data
- Must have experience validating data in a financial environment

- Knowledgeable with Cognos or BOXI
