DATA ANALYST URGENTLY REQUIRED

CONTRACT: 8 months (Day Rate) with potential for extension
Next Generation Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst with excellent analytical capabilities. Our client works in an extremely fast paced and dynamic environment and they have a created new role for a like-minded individual to join at a very exciting stage in the company's growth.
They are looking for a Data Analyst with strong resilience and adaptability to cope with rapid changes in direction. You will be able develop solutions for cleansing, inspecting and transforming data for a major data migration project that spans across Europe. You will have critical attention to detail skills in order to identify discrepancies in the Legacy data and support in testing of data loads and integrations.
THE ROLE:
- Supporting In-house development in planning and executing system tests, assisting in issue resolution as required
- Designing and setting up processes, in particular for the receipt and on-going management of the data
- Data analysis & reporting expertise
- Arrange, analyse and report on large volumes of data/data quality
- Requires experience/in-depth knowledge of business operations, requirements processing, business modelling concepts, information systems and software development life cycle knowledge and business process development
- Working closely with the IT team to design the technical solution(s) to meet the business requirements
YOUR SKILLS:
- Expert MS Excel skills and SQL development
- 3+ years in a data analysis role with SQL databases
- Experience in retail or FMCG industry preferable
- Experience working with HR/Personnel related data is preferable
- SQL Data Analytical experience with data management (importing data, data cleansing, data mapping, modelling), Business Intelligence (report writing, data analysis)
- Experience working in a fast paced, highly pressurised environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to liaise between business and technical professionals
- IT Degree/or related qualification
