Data Analyst - Credit Risk - SAS/SQL

The Role
To provide expert assistance to Senior Management, ensuring that Worldpay achieves their operational aims and objectives. Responsible for development, enhancement and maintenance of risk measurement methodologies to facilitate credit risk identification, management and governance for the Retailer Solutions business.

Key Accountabilities
* Trend analysis and model development. Development and maintenance of systems/reporting tools encompassing application processing and monitoring of exposures in the live environment eg limit monitoring, sanction monitoring and provision of exception reports for the operational areas. Provision of regular Management Information to Senior Management commenting and providing recommendations on trends. Provision of monthly Regulatory reporting of counterparty exposures to Risk Committees. Continuously evaluate procedures and implement enhancements to improve overall efficiency & service. Scorecard Modelling and maintenance

Skills and abilities required for the role.
Database interrogation. Gathering Information. Influencing. Finding Solutions. Understanding Issues. Developing People Experience. Experience of SQL and SAS programming Essential. OBIEE Experience desirable. Experience within a credit function focusing either on portfolio, counterparty exposures or credit policy. Familiarity with risk portfolio management techniques. Understanding of Scorecard performance monitoring. Possess a passion for Data (Self Starter)

Technical Knowledge.
Experience of SQL and SAS programming Essential. Scorecard Modelling and maintenance. OBIEE desirable. Detailed knowledge and functional use of Microsoft Suite products (including the creation and development of risk analysis models via Excel, Access)
