A highly regarded Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced DATA ANALYST/BUSINESS ANALYST to join their talented and dedicated team in Canberra for an 3 month contract.

The successful candidate will be required to provide capture and data model design and mapping for a project to consolidate and replace the current data holdings that are spread across six systems into one new application. This will involve a migration of data from the disparate systems into a single system as well as the construction of a new Front End interface. 

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Experience providing business analysis services for the consolidation of disparate existing systems into a single system.
- Experience in analysing data structures and capturing rules for the purpose of mapping data from existing disparate systems into one consolidated holding.
- Ability to assist and guide stakeholders and project teams to distil business requirements into mandatory, desirable etc.
- Experience in database development and the use of SQL Server (desirable)
