Data Analyst - Banking - Edinburgh £300pd

I have an exciting opening for a Data Analyst to join on of the biggest financial services clients in the UK on an initial 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be joining a bank wide portfolio looking to deliver a SAM 8 programme as part of the Transaction Monitoring portfolio.

They are looking for the successful candidate to understand data definition, data profiles, quality levels and data lineage of data across various regulatory parts of the data landscape on this programme, therefore it is essential that candidates have the following experience:

- Previous workings on a large data programme within banking
- Understanding of current banking regulations and the pressure to deliver within the tight deadlines set out
- Previous knowledge of Complex Data - data mapping/reporting would be useful.

It would be desirable if candidates have the following experience from previous assignments:

- Any Credit Card or Customer Transaction experience.
