Data Analyst

My client, a leading retail fashion brand, is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to sit within the Data Pillar where you will be part of the team that is accountable for migrating data form the Legacy systems onto the new systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Data Analyst with a wealth of experience to join an innovative and prestigious organisation.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of complete and accurate datasets to align to the schedule of test and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

* For each release, create the list of required datasets and agree quality criteria with Data Lead
* Build a delivery schedule for each dataset to align to the test phases for each release
* Build a delivery schedule for each dataset to align to the Go-Live activities for each release
* Define the Dataset conditions that will be required to meet that schedule to ensure that the datasets are fully synchronized eg All datasets are consistent with the same period end
* Manually create new datasets when there is no Legacy equivalent

Essential Skills

* Need to have performed a similar role previously and be able to demonstrate a level of skill in that area
* Experience in SQL and Excel for manipulating large volumes of data
* Technically confident with the ability to demonstrate a high level of competence in this area
* Ability to propose and defend technical solutions
* Tangible ability to build and cultivate good working relationships
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and be proactive
* Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, Oracle RMS, Oracle Data Integrator & SQL desired
* A collaborative and innovative approach

It would also be beneficial if all successful applicants have experience of Testing or working within a Testing workstream or Testing environment.
