The Junior Data Analyst is expected to bring scientific rigor to marketing, fostering a test-and-learn approach, with the end goal of maximizing the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Also demonstrates a thirst for knowledge and natural curiosity that leads to continuous improvement in analytical techniques used and in marketing processes. The specific focus will be on consumer loyalty and retention marketing programs within Direct Marketing.

Responsibilities:
1. Support business objectives in making strategic data-driven decisions by analysing, internally managing and reporting data
2. Execute analytics projects that involve data collection and some statistical analysis
3. Design automated reports for regular distribution to stakeholders.
4. Contribute to developing presentations, help visualize data for stakeholder consumption. Incorporate new concepts and use creativity where precedents are limited.

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum experience: 2-4 years experience in data analysis/reporting
Prior experience with SQL required
Prior experience in database marketing, reporting, market profiling or general analytics preferred
Prior experience with SAS preferred

Produce ad hoc reports on campaign metrics or member segments
Handle a backlog of reporting tasks
Create report templates to be populate going forward
Automate reporting processes
