Data Analyst

Seeking top a Data Analyst candidate with at least five years of experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for IT systems. Working within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) team, this senior level Data Analyst will be working on key initiatives that assist in visualizing future state processes and technological changes. Should have in-depth experience working with various databases and large amounts of messy data. Must be a strategic thinker, results driven, detailed orientated and capable/comfortable of assuming responsibility for analysis assignments in order to work with minimal supervision.

This candidate should have experience working with formal development methodologies, be knowledgeable of various data analysis techniques and have experience maintaining requirements following a formal process. Candidate will work closely with the Director of Biometrics to facilitate progress of assigned project work.

Qualifications

Key Experience should include:

Minimum of five years of Data Analyst experience
Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing and time-management skills
Detailed orientated with strong analytical aptitude
Experience working with Big Data
Experience in SAS Base
Experience in writing functional and user specifications
Experience with formal development methodologies
Experience with various data analysis elicitation/analysis techniques
Experience with Database creation/development
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Must be able to lead group discussions
Should feel comfortable and be adaptable in an environment with shifting priorities

Desired:

Med Device/Pharma industry experience advantageous
Experience with complaint handling
BS degree in Computer Science or related field
