Data Analysis Engineer Job

DATA ANALYSIS ENGINEER needed for an 8 month contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Schenectady, NY.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Writing Macros
- Data Analysis
- Engineering: Battery and/or Fuel Cell
- Data Mining

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Lead data mining and data analysis and report out on cell charge and discharge characteristics.
- Lead cell builds and work cross functionally with operations team to prepare test cells.
- Lead in cell performance testing and work with the test lab on protocols and execution of test plans.
- Lead in material characterization of cell components and enable material level specification for cell components and cell design.
- Perform dimensional stack-up analysis and build prototypes prior to full scale qualification.
- Document design calculations, test results, and learnings in full reports.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- M.S. in Material Science, Chemical or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong communication and interpersonal, language fluency is a must.
- Hands-on experience running experiments, building prototypes, debugging failures.
- Skilled in writing macros and developing data generation and synthesis
