Our client, a large global IT consultancy, is looking for an experienced Data Administrator to lead a data migration project, from Sybase 12 to Oracle 11G r1. You would need to have experience in Trading Application for Repo trading - high business criticality
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Migrate Sybase Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, Tables, Views and Indexes to Oracle Objects
Prepare Unit Test cases and perform unit testing of the Stored Procedures
Debug Unit Test defects
Migrate table data from Sybase to Oracle
Prepare release script and deploy Oracle objects
Prepare Shell Scripts
SKILLS:
Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL stored program units such as Procedures, Packages, Function and Triggers (essential)
Strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL debugging, tuning and optimization (essential)
Working experience in UNIX/Linux Scripting (essential)
