D/W Architect - London - 6 Months - £400 per day

I am currently looking for a Data Warehouse Architect to work on a contract basis for an excellent blue chip client based in Central London for 6 months. The client is looking for someone to act as the lead technical resource in the strategic oversight, planning and implementation of the Corporate Data Warehouse architecture. This is not a green field project as a DW is already in place. Technical skills we are looking for are:

Technical Skills
- Oracle database with excellent OLAP Design capabilities
- Experience in dimensional design and implementation using Rational Data Architect (RDS)
- Knowledge of DataStage, 7.x, InfoSphere Information Server 9.1 onwards
- Understanding of MWB (Metadata Work Bench) and IBM CDC.
- Data Mart
- Have a clear understanding of the Corporate Data Warehouse product and functionality
- Deep understanding of Data warehouse approaches, industry standards and industry best practices
- Skilled in the various design and technology alternatives that influence the database design
- Must be proficient with end-user tools, data extract tools, data replication tools, rapid development techniques, prototyping, and SQL.
