Customer Technical Support Manager - 2G Nokia mcBSC Platforms
Contractor Requirement - Dublin
We are looking for a Customer Technical Support Manager with an expertise in 2G Nokia mcBSC Platforms, to work on a contract for an international mobile telecommunications provider based in Dublin.
The role of Customer Technical Support Manager is to work on network consolidation project and provide first level advanced technical support for queries (customer & internal), according to customer contract and internal support models.
Responsibilities will include.
- Leading role in complex troubleshooting cases, including 3rd party equipment and Multivendor Interfaces
- Responsible for meeting contracted response times.
- Responsible as technical customer contact
- Lead and provide Expert Support services (such as MV, IP, Expert Support, Preventive Care, On-line SW Change Service, Launch Support, Tailored Technical support, Special Event support).
- Lead complex technical activities such a SW upgrades, technical audits and Swaps
- Responsible for technical support in early product release phases (pilots, trials and early projects).
- Feedback and co-ordination with other service business lines (like Network Planning, System Integration)
- Network expansion to multi-interface level.
- Lead and plan technical/customer system acceptance.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning activities.
- Network expansion and technical acceptance activities
This position is a technical role at managerial level therefore applicants will need to be able to display skills and experience in the following areas.
- Nokia mcBSC platform knowledge - this is essential
- Experience in Nokia 2G,3G and 4G technologies
- Experience of working in a customer facing role such as Customer Project Manager, Technical Lead or Delivery Manager in a vendor or operator environment.
- Eligible to work in Ireland, resident or EU National.
The role is full time and available on an ongoing contract basis from the organisations regional headquarters in Dublin. Project People Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
