Customer Support Trainee

Our client is a marketing and sales office, with 29 employees but part of a large 10 Billion Euro multi-national dairy co-operative. The UK office is looking for a Customer Support Trainee reporting to the Head of Supply Chain. This role will require the successful candidate to undertake some travel.

Location: West Sussex
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: 1 Year fixed term contract
(Although this post is initially for one year, there is potential for this to lead to a permanent position)

This is a great developmental role for the right person. The successful candidate will attend courses including commercial courses run by the organisation and will also be given specific project work to develop their skills. The role holder will work between the Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Services teams. On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in handling customer queries and resolving logistical issues, providing administration support to the Supply Chain team, and assisting the Finance team with credit control and accounts payable activities.

Skills & Experience required for the role

* Experience of working within an office or similar environment
* Degree educated or equivalent
* Strong numeracy and IT skills
* Confident customer service skills
* Good organising skills and the ability to multi-task and solve problems
* Excellent verbal and written communication
