- Experience working in a Call Center Environment
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Responsible for processing international order, quotations, returns, commissions, credits, invoices, and other export shipping documents
- Using telephone, calculator, PC, written procedures and product knowledge for proper orders
- Making decisions regarding order priority, pricing, modes of transportation, product identification, product sourcing, etc.
- Answering pricing and product inquiries, order and item status received via email, telephone, FAX, and mail from customers, dealers, and subsidiaries
- Processing emergency orders
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with dealers, customers, subsidiaries, U.S. divisions, and outside service companies (banks, transportation companies, freight forwarders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (ie, consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct)
- Effective working in teams to achieve the department's objectives
- Experience using a PC;
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Working knowledge of ZDCS; keying speed of 7000 kdph with 95% accuracy;
- Typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy;
