Customer Service Representative III Job

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in HOUSTON, TX.

- Experience with JDEdwards and Oracle

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work with the customers and the global cross-functional teams to validate and investigate the submitted claims.
- Help in the Technical and Commercial pre-screen of warranty claim & Customer complaint requests
- Pull purchase orders/sales orders from JDE/Oracle and research history on part.
- Submit and process DOAs
- Enter sales orders in a timely manner and update claims with sales order information.
- Manage the order execution process to customer receipt of goods, services, etc. and document all claims with Proof of delivery for easy tracking.
- Expedite orders through manufacturing, sourcing, Overhaul &Repair, Authorized Repair Facilities and other departments as required for timely execution
- Validation of required customer information.
- Track claims, assign actions to the appropriate functional owners and actively follow up on closure of the actions.
- Follow up on closed claims that have other open actions eg parts to be sent to Service Center for repair etc.
- Check status of part return with customer - send reminders to customers
- Assign actions for invoicing as applicable
- Issue closure letters to customers
- Work with the planners to get parts on order/expedited
- Update and Maintain Warranty Project List.
- Pulling reports and Metrics on as need basis from the database

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Demonstrate experience in a customer service role and should be fluent in ERP systems.
- Experience with JDEdwards and Oracle is a must.
- Fluent in Microsoft office tools such as Excel and PowerPoint. Other prerequisites include:
- Ability to work in a fast paced/dynamic environment
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a Matrix organization and across functional boundaries inside/outside the company
- Strong customer service mindset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Be self motivated and quick learner
