Capita life and pensions are currently looking for Customer service representatives to work on a permanent basis. The location for this role is Belfast.

As a Customer service representatives you will be tasked with providing an efficient customer service through accurately processing transaction enquiries from customers in accordance with the principles of treating customer fairly and all regulatory requirements.

Key duties of the role:

To process transactions to agreed service levels adhering to the principles of Treating Customer Fairly, and where relevant within agreed financial authority limits.
To contact customers by telephone, e-mail, fax or letter to efficiently resolve queries adhering to the principles of Treating Customer Fairly.
To deal with customer data, ethically, compliantly and in accordance with FSA requirements.
To check the work of others where appropriate to ensure that standards of accuracy, clarity and financial integrity are maintained and designated authority limits are adhered to.
To identifies opportunities and make recommendations to improve processes, and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
To supports and take an active role in service improvement initiatives/projects as required.
To assist the management team, including collation of supporting Management Information, where appropriate with daily tasks.
To acts as a good team player, participating willingly and acting in support of the team.

Essential Skills

Good communication and mathematical reasoning skills (5 GCSE's or equivalent)
Relevant experience working in a customer focused environment
Good understanding of Regulatory and Compliance requirements.
Good general understanding of specified products and relevant systems including PC skills.
In depth understanding of processes and procedures
Understanding and application of agreed authority limits where relevant.
Good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
