Customer Service Rep - Logistics

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Rep (logistics) for a 2 month contract position in Maryland Heights, MO.

- Transportation background strongly preferred. Strong candidates will have experience in CSR dealing specifically with logistics within a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience not only managing client/customer accounts, but also with scheduling deliveries and/or pickups of freight.
- Call center is not a fit for this position. Account management skills are beneficial as the CSR works with a set list of businesses. B2B customer service is required; End user CSR is not the right experience fit.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment preferred.

Receives and processes routine customer orders, inquiries, and/or complaints covering items or products ordered. - Maintains an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff. Incumbents utilize knowledge of products and product availability to provide a communications link to the customer.
- Applies advanced skills to the position within assigned functional area. Duties and tasks reflect substantial variety and complexity. Assignments are broad in nature and generally require originality or ingenuity.
- Works under minimal supervision.
- 3-5 years experience.
