LB Merton is revolutionising the way it does business. Through the implementation of contact management, a new website and electronic document management we are not only looking to improve our efficiency. More importantly, we are organising our services around individual citizens so that they experience them in the way - and at a time and place - that works for them. This is a massive transformation for the organisation - and one we're very excited about. Are you the person to drive and deliver it?

You'll be experienced at implementing large scale channel shift and managing the associated implementation of technical solutions. Your exceptional programme/project management skills will mean that you have reputation for delivery - the kind of person who 'makes things happen'. Adept at managing cultural change, you'll be an excellent communicator with strong influencing and relationship management skills as well as experience in redesigning business processes. Ideally you'll have knowledge of local government, and therefore experience of working across a large and complex organisation with varied business objectives.

This is a demanding and high profile role, and there will be challenges along the way. But the rewards are huge - working in an ambitious London borough to bring real improvements to people's experience of public services will be just one of them.
