- Connect44 is looking for CS or PS Core Backoffice Engineer with Huawei equipment.
- Requirements:
- Prepare, implement, test and document configuration and software changes to the 4G/LTE, 3G/UMTS, 2G/GSM, IP Networking, elements handled by the BO Mobile Core
- Proactively perform regular network audits in the own area of responsibility and report deviations and faults found, correct errors
- 2nd level Incident and Problem Management: Investigate, isolate and drive Fixed/Mobile networks and/or product problems reported by customer
- Participate in and if applicable, lead project teams for the integration of new network elements
- Participate in project teams for the implementation of new services
- Provide emergency support for the network elements handled by BO Mobile Core
- Available for on call duty
- Configuration Management: Execute work orders to apply configuration changes. Plan, schedule and coordinate activities with technical personnel from customer and Telco partners

Your competences/qualifications

This position requires a Bachelor of Science or comparable degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science.

You have:

HUAWEI EXPERIENCE IN CS OR PS.

Proven experience in GSM/GPRS/UMTS (MSS, HLR, VLR, SGSN, GGSN and MGW, UMG, HSS and IMS)

Tekelec STP experience

Firewall - Checkpoint Smart Dashboard experience

DNS experience

Good knowledge of the protocol like: OSIX SS7, ATM, SIP, SCCP/TCAP, ISUP, DTAP, MGTS)

Proven experience in a telecoms operations environment and particularly in Mobile network topology

IP knowledge is a clear benefit

Specialist knowledge in at least one of the aforementioned responsibility areas

Good knowledge in network fault/performance/configuration management tools

Fluent English in conversation and writing
