Crystal Reports Development Specialist

Crystal Reports Development Specialist required for a busy Government Department.

You will be required to translate high level requirements into a proposal defining the report designs.
Agreement of the proposed report designs.
Understanding and translation of source data.
Production of a full set of Service Management reports utilising the data produced by a number of Service Management and monitoring toolsets.
Documentation to enable future maintenance of the reports.
This role is required as part of the Monitoring and Management Information team to enable the successful development and compliance and MI reports.
The toolsets utilised make a large amount of valuable date available that support the SLA's we deliver to (for example anti-virus compliane, patching status, system availability, system capacity alerts).
At present this data is available in a very basic format - this needs to be addressed and professional reports that meet the requirements of the Management, SDMs, Customers and other stakeholders need to be produced.
Candidates must have specific skills required to do this work, in particular SQL and Crystal Reports.
Other skills include Crystal Reports Writing, Crystal Reports Server (CMC and Infoview), SQL Server Development - SSIS, Stored Procedures, Views, DBA (Tuning, Backups, Management), Data Warehousing, VBScript, Excel.

If candidates have experience of HP SM7 & SM9 and HP Openview Ops Manager this would be highly desirable.
Candidates must cleared to SC Level as a minimum.
