Crude Oil Supply Analyst, London, £ Competitive My client, one of the market leading management consultancies within the energy and commodities space is seeking a Crude Oil Supply Analyst for their team. The Role The Crude Oil Supply Analyst will sit in the Oil Analysis team and involve providing research, analysis and insight into the Global Oil Markets. The ideal candidate will have experience providing analysis into the supply side of the oil industry focusing on supply-side economics and other factors associated with the supply of crude oil to the global markets. The role will also involve forecasting short and long term developments within these markets and how the various factors will affect the supply of oil worldwide. Whilst there is a focus on the supply side of the Crude Oil industry, there may also be some work require looking into Oil Demand. The role will be a combination of both qualitative market report writing and quantitative analysis. Therefore we require an individual with a strong numerate ability and an analytical mindset to add value to the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understand of the market fundamentals associated with the oil industry and in particular have experience looking into supply side economic issues. A minimum of a numerate Masters Degree (MA, MSc, PhD or equiv) ideally in Economics or similar from a top tier University is ESSENTIAL (Strong Bachelors Degrees with significant oil markets experience will also be considered).
