Cross Asset Application Support: London

My client, a leading British Investment Bank is currently recruiting for a permanent, front office, cross asset, application support analyst. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding part of the business in which the landscape changes rapidly; so you will be providing a flexible production support environment.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will involve providing a reliable, efficient and consistent formalised engagement of the business with regard to issues pertaining to the Cross Asset system functionality. Broken down, your tasks will involve:

- Perform troubleshooting with the user
- Prioritise issues and escalate to the correct area
- Attending meetings with senior users and customers
- Monitor user-wide communications

For this role, the manager is looking for a senior application support candidate, with the following experience:

- Front Office, Application Support
- Ideally in a Cross-Asset platform, or if not, within the Fixed Income world
- Technically strong in Unix, SQL or Oracle
