CREDIT RISK ANALYST (SAS SPECIALIST, FINANCIAL SERVICES, BIRMINGHAM)

We are looking to recruit a Credit Risk Analyst with a strong understanding of credit risk controls to join a change programme within the lending space of a well-recognised financial services organisation. The successful Credit Risk Analyst will look to define improvements to the current credit risk controls, before working alongside to-be' process maps outlining improvements to these controls within a new Operating Model. The team will then look to implement this new Credit Risk Operating Model. The Credit Risk Analyst will require significant knowledge of credit risk principles & knowledge of SAS & SQL to effectively complete this project. The successful candidate will also be highly experienced in working with large amounts of data across multiple systems.

CREDIT RISK ANALYST KEY SKILLS:

- 3+ years analysis using SAS (knowledge of SAS Macros will be advantageous)
- Knowledge of the concepts, principles and practices of credit risk management
- Strong demonstrable ability in manipulating and interpreting large amounts of data from a number of sources.
- A high level of creativity, drive, innovation and initiative, with good time management and planning skills.
- Strong communication skill

The successful Credit Risk Analyst can expect to be in contract for a minimum of 4 months.
