Credit Controller - French and English

Roc Search's Client is currently recruiting for a Credit Controller in Marlow for a 3 month contract.

Position Summary:
To maximise cash inflow through highly effective debt collection, as well as ensuring efficient management of nominated accounts.

Key Duties:
*To achieve the monthly cash-collection targets set for a specific section of accounts/sales ledger.Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner
*Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity.Answer queries and enquiries from customers within the allocated section of accounts.
*Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries
*Ability to interpret commercial credit reports
*Ensure that payments are correctly allocated, to the appropriate account and against the appropriate invoice(s).
*Ability to negotiate payment plans to avoid bad debts
*Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
*Anticipates developments, and identifies accounts that will require special attention
*Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
*Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested
*Undertake account reconciliations as required
*Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
*Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time
*Work within guidelines and reports to the Credit Manager and/or Financial Controller

Key Skill Requirements
*Proven track record in Credit Control
*Good communication skills
*Working to targets and set deadlines
*Building relationships with internal and external customers
*High standard of numeracy, accuracy with attention to detail
*Must be able to work effectively as part of a team
*PC literate with Email and MS Word skills
*Advanced MS Excel skills required
*Ability to work on own initiative
*Outgoing and confident personality who is able to operate at all levels
*A self-starter who is pro-active and can set and achieve goals
*Strong organisational & time management skills
*Bilingual - English & French required
*Great Plains knowledge required but not essential
