CREDIT CONTROLLER - 6 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

LOCATION HATFIELD

Pitney Bowes, an industry leader in customer communication technologies, are seeking to recruit a Collections Portfolio Specialist- based at of our Head Office in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.

As a Collections Portfolio Specialist, you will be interacting professionally with our customers to ensure the prompt collections of monies owed to the company in conjunction with set payment terms. One of the key aspects of this role is to maximise our revenue by being a proactive and effective team member who consistently delivers excellent service that improves the efficiency and profitability of Customer Operations.

WE ARE KEEN TO HEAR FROM YOU - IF YOU HAVE RELEVANT EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• Proven experience within a Collections/Customer Service environment

• Strong interpersonal, communication skills and enthusiasm

• Experience of making outbound calls

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and stretch targets

• Intermediate level MS Excel (including Pivot Tables / Macros / Formulas)

• Fluency in French is preferred

THE OPPORTUNITY:

As a valued member of the Collections team, you will be accountable for:

• Striving to maximize the amount of cash collected and reducing levels of delinquent debt.

• Maintaining a level of productivity based on individual targets that meets or exceeds performance expectations

• Identify and recommend improvements in developing collections systems, processes and service levels.

• Provide exceptional service levels that improve efficiency and profitability of Customer Operations

• Liaise with a range of areas across the business on behalf of the customer in a professional and efficient manner

• Taking action to reduce value and volume of unallocated cash and credit notes.
