Credit Controller

CREDIT CONTROLLER - Invoices, IT, Credit Management qualification/AAT, Mainframe accounts

My client, a leading financial institution, are looking for credit controller to be based in their London office. The successful candidate will be tasked with assisting with specific sales ledgers and to support the credit control department. They will be required to contact customers to obtain payment of outstanding invoices and overdue debts, escalate actions on unpaid debts, involving management where necessary. Develop and maintain good relationships with both external and internal customers to assist the invoice processing and payment process, Investigate and resolve all customer queries, including account reconciliations.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Previous credit control experience is essential.
- Experience of dealing with high volumes of invoices and pressured deadlines essential
- Must have good IT experience, which will include competent levels of Excel, including V Look-up & Pivot table experience.
- Experience of Mainframe accounts systems essential. Oracle & Sun is desired though full training will be provided.
- Institute of Credit Management qualification/membership, AAT or equivalent preferred
- A-level minimum education, grade C or above
- Foreign languages desirable but not essential
