Creative Account Manager (Marketing)

Our client a Bluechip Corporation are seeking an in-house Creative Account Manager to work on a contract basis initially for three months from Canary Wharf, London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing the successful completion of creative projects for marketing clients ensuring that objectives are met to time and budgets plans. The Creative Account Manager will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to effectively tralante creative input into a creative brief for the creative teams to work from.

Main day to day responsibilities for a Creative Account Manager

- Owns the client relationship and works proactively to manage expectations and negotiate positive outcomes to ensure long-term business success for our clients and Creative Services
- Overall project management, provides project and client leadership, work direction and feedback to the team assigned to the project.
- Serves as primary contact on core, strategic clients
- Serves as the advocate for the client within Creative Services, and the advocate for Creative Services with the client
- Identifies and helps resolve challenges related to schedules, budgets, and project communication
- Serves as brand ambassador to help ensure adherence to quality and brand standards
- Monitors budgets and provides reporting to clients
- Works with the team to supervise project progress including schedules and performance against the project plan, resolving issues that may impact successful project completion
- Conducts project meetings to ensure alignment across teams and ensures there are clear "next steps" recapped in meeting summaries to the team
- Ability to understand print and e media marketing metrics and make recommendations based on results

The successful candidate will effectively demonstrate the following;

Education and Experience:

- Experience within a creative team, ideally a corporate/in-house agency focusing on account support
- Or experience in project management with solid, demonstrated marketing communications skills

Knowledge and Skills

- Ability to create and lead cross-functional teams
- Resilience in the face of adversity and an extremely strong work ethic, positive attitude
- Ability to both take and give direction
- Working understanding of print, digital and video in an agency environment
- Fluency in marketing communication objectives, strategies, tactics and terminology
- Ability to delegate tasks and motivate a team, with a strong "can do" attitude
- Deadline and detail oriented with demonstrated ability to deliver on commitments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Ability to leverage and work effectively with diverse styles, skills and abilities and across cultures
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
