Cost Governance Senior Analyst

Allegis Group Services are the onsite recruitment partner at RBS and manage all contract and temporary opportunities for RBS M&IB (Markets and International Banking).

- Responsible for the MDS regional and Group recharging process including liaison with various regions for approval, SLA prior to implementation
- MDS variance analysis from a various Functions/Divisions within M
- Working closely with the Commercial Market Data Services (MDS) team in respect of the MDS costs
- Providing Finance expertise to the MDS team's senior customers with regards to all MDS accounting and financials
- Providing MDS financial expertise input into monthly expense forecasts and the annual budgeting process.

Skills:

- Extensive experience in MI, including Budgeting and Forecasting
- Financial Control/Decision Support experience in an investment bank or large corporate
- Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- Experience of multi dimensional databases and General Ledger systems
- Experience of working as part of a global team
- Experience of multi dimensional databases and General Ledger systems
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including ability to understand inter-relationships and interpret trends in financial data
- Familiarity with general ledger, cost sub-ledger, and MI systems (eg OLAP reporting tools)
- Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, with practical experience in a similar role
- Financial accounting knowledge with sound understanding of balance sheet, costs and headcount measures
