Cost Engineer/Quantity Surveyor

We have a number of opportunities with one of our clients based in the Midlands area broadly covering a region from Oxford to Leeds and Manchester to Lincoln.

Due to a continued growing workload within the business and the industry drive for change they now require a number of commercial staff across various areas.

Ideal candidates will have experience within the energy or utilities markets preferably within the distribution of gas or electricity but we are open to hearing from those with transferrable skills.

We are looking for high calibre individuals with a broad experience across the utilities industry ranging from construction and maintenance projects to complex business analysis and reporting therefore people with cross industry or contract and commercial based consultants will be highly likely to be considered.

This role requires high levels of customer and stakeholder interface therefore excellent written and spoken skills are a pre-requisite, you will need to be a driving force in the business willing to gather information from multiple sources and produce varying reports for different layers of the company and management.

You will have a keen sys for detail and be able to spot and report on trends that may lead to the deterioration of the project or assist in making future projects better.
