Cost Engineer - Oil & Gas

Our client, a leading Engineering and management contractor in the oil and gas industry, due to a new two year PMC project award now seeks a Cost Engineer to join their PMC team in Abu Dhabi. The operator intends to embark on various projects, both onshore and offshore, to maintain existing facilities and enhance oil and gas production from it's main reservoir incorporating Production, Water Injection, Observation, Gas Injection and Gas Lift Wells. The overall mission of the PMC team is to manage the EPC contractors through FEED to construction, commissioning and final handover stage.

In terms of the Cost role this would encompass the planning and scheduling of activities, cost estimation, budgeting and cost control for all aspects of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning stages of the projects for both Onshore & Offshore plant.

Suitable candidates will need to be Degree qualified with a minimum of fifteen years post graduate experience with at least three years in a PMC/Consultants role. Preference will be given to those with previous Middle East experience.
