Cost Engineer

A leading defence client based in Waddington is seeking an SC cleared Cost Estimator for an initial 6 Month Contract.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:-

-Project management experience through the entire project life cycle
-Subcontract or supply chain management experience
-MoD contracting experience and knowledge of DEFCONs
-Engineering background
-Effective liaison with stakeholders
-Experienced in using spreadsheets and complex estimating/pricing models
-Numerate
-Experience of parametric estimating tools eg Price H
-Ability to analyse drawings and technical specifications to prepare BOM and BOE
-Ability to work across all functions within a project environment to obtain data and support when preparing estimates
-Ability to meet and exceed demanding deadlines in a bid environment

In addition, the below is also desirable:

-MoD Cost Assurance and Analysis Service (CAAS) experience
-Experience of schedule modelling using MS Project
