Cost Engineer

Engineering & Construction client is looking for a Project Cost Engineer with 5-10 years of cost analysis progress/productivity measurement, risk analysis & change management
- Regularly monitors and analyzes all financial contract terms

REQUIREMENTS

- 5-10 years of cost analysis & cost engineering experience on heavy industrial construction projects (ideally Power Plant EPC projects)
- Experience with Earned Value Analysis, Cost Forecasting and Cost Analysis in support of EPC projects
- A BS degree is needed, preferably in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or Construction Management
- Understand how to read a complex schedule and tie cash flow to the schedule
- Knowledge of critical path methods
- Experience analyzing cost and schedule variances
- Involved and knowledgeable regarding all major EPC contract terms
- You must have some experience on a construction site as the Field Cost Engineer supporting the project
- Any experience supporting large air quality control EPC projects for power plants is a plus
