Cost Accounting Manager - German Speaking

ROLE: COST ACCOUNTING MANAGER - GERMAN SPEAKING

Duration: 6 months Contract

Location: Zurich, Switzerland

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Analyzes cost variations for a large multinational organisation
- Coordinate the product lines cost analysis for a large multinational organisation
- Provide support with regards to the costing of quotes/bids by the sales/project departments when required.
- Extensive experience of cost accounting and management of the processes for a large multinational organisation
- Assist both external and internal auditors in carrying out their duties, with specific relation to costing and inventory information.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Able to interpret client's Financial Accounting Policies (FAPs) and implement changes where required; ability to interpret IFRS's and relate to contracts
- Able to determine appropriate accounting treatment for outsource and software contracts (in consultation with onshore management for high value contracts) 
- Must be fluent in Germant Language
