COST ACCOUNTANT - INVESTMENT BANK

A leading investment bank have an immediate interim opportunity for an experienced cost accountant to provide cost control and accounting expertise for their investment banking business.

As a cost accountant you will lead a two of two cost control professionals to undertake accruals, pre-payments, assess balance sheets, profit and loss, attestation, posting and journals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to break into investment banking for someone who has experience working in large scale, high complexity environments with 100+ cost centres and multiple ledgers.

You should apply for this role if you have:

- 5+ years' experience as a cost accountant within global organisations
- Qualified accountant is absolutely essential for this role
- Cost control experience on accounts with 100+ cost centres
- Cost control experience on accounts with multiple ledgers
- Strong Excel - V-Lookups and Database Lookups
- Degree educated or higher from a leading academies institution

This is an initial six month contract compensated at £400-£450/day based London.
