Cost Accountant/Financial Analyst Job

COST ACCOUNTANT/FINANCIAL ANALYST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Rochester, NY.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and attention to details. These balance sheet reconciliations require timely review, and approval by a specified date each month. Ensure reconciliation variances are resolved on a timely basis.
- Perform monthly product and program cost analysis and investigation.
- Supporting multiple audits (internal, external, Sarbanes-Oxley, government, ICE)
- Perform accounting close activities
- Adjusting journal entries
- Monthly account analysis
- Monitoring of batch feed processing and related errors
- Quarterly and annual account schedules
- Physical inventory and cycle count coordination and participation
- Work with Operations personnel to investigate inventory transactions as needed
- Assist with ad hoc request and reporting as necessary

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of business accounting, particularly in a standard cost manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to see the "big picture"
- Deadline driven

- Advanced excel skills
- QAD proficiency
- PeopleSoft experience
- Knowledge of RF workflow and processes
