CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS & MARKETING MANAGER - SCOTTISH BORDERS

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced corporate communications and marketing manager for maternity cover based in the Scottish Borders.

You will be required to lead and manage a corporate customer-focused external and internal communications function, including design, print, web and digital media services, that will enable the efficient and effective delivery of the corporate objectives.

SKILLS REQUIRED - - Senior level experience of working in communications in a large, multi-disciplinary organisation
- Spokesperson for key organisational issues with media representatives
- Delivery of a service in line with a service specification, such as a service level agreement.
- Strong line management experience, leading a team of employees.
- Experience of operating at both strategic and operational levels.
- Experienced in constructively challenging, influencing and motivating line managers
- Management of budgets in a communications environment Project planning and project management
- Complex professional issues
- Experience in leading communications during a crisis or emergency
- Degree or postgraduate qualification and experience in corporate communications or a closely associated discipline.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations

- The ability to deal with people at all levels both within and outside the organisation.
- Calm, thorough and methodical nature with patience and attention to detail.
